Dr. McHugh received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Marquette University and is a Licensed Psychologist in private practice at Psychological Affiliates, Inc., in Winter Park, Florida. Her therapeutic practice specialties include anxiety disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), domestic violence, divorce and separation issues, mood disorders, and a variety of other concerns relating to children, adolescents, and adults. She also specializes in forensic evaluation including competency, child abuse, personal injury, and general diagnostic assessment. She has testified as an Expert Witness in Brevard, Orange, and Seminole counties. Her publications and professional presentations include topics such as cognitive and behavioral mood induction and domestic violence. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Collaborative Family Law Group of Central Florida, and National Organization for Victim Assistance.
